Vining was previously managing director of the South Division.

Other moves see Phil Greer, formerly managing director of the East Division, become executive director of operations with responsibility for the divisional managing directors, safety, health & environment and business improvement.

Together with Vining, he joins Gary Edwards (business director), Sean Smylie (commercial director) and Mike Porter (finance director) as the Executive Board Team.

They are supported by a new senior management team structure, with Ian Cheung becoming managing director for the South, and Colin Sargeant replacing Phil Greer as East Division managing director.

Peter Millett remains as West Division managing director. Darren Shattock joins the business to lead the safety, health and environment team.
