The contract is expected to start in January with a target completion date of October 2016.

Design concept work has been completed in devising the format of the proposed steel framed building of around 80,000sq ft over three floors.

The £14m new build budget also includes some demolition of several existing structures.

Outline planning permission has been applied for from Amber Valley Borough Council.
