Four consortia have been named as construction delivery partners with consultant Jacobs taking the sole overriding role as engineering services partner.

The multidisciplinary activities to be carried out as part of the framework include design, project management, construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance which will ensure the delivery of clean and waste water.
The Construction Delivery Partner framework will vary in each year of the AMP period and may range between £120m and £370m annually
It is hoped that the programme will allow the delivery partners to build a long-term relationship with United Utilities, with potential to extend the existing agreement to 2026.
Over this extended period the work is estimated to be worth around £750m to each framework partner.
