The council has detailed its planned project pipeline, estimated to be worth £400m-£900m, ahead of official invitations to tender.
Firms have been invited to express early interest before procurement races are launched.
The council’s housing renewal strategy published in March 2010 identified several neighbourhoods in need of significant inward investment, for new housing, environmental and infrastructure projects.

The procurement arrangements will involve each site being put out to bid for mixed tenure schemes, including complimentary commercial and community uses.
Tendering will be run through the capitalESourcing tenders portal. Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system, which is free.
In December 2012 Westminster set up a developer/contractor framework to deliver five states projects then in the pipeline. The seven successful firms were: Berkeley Homes; Bouygues/London Newcastle; Grosvenor; Hadley Mace; Higgins; Redrow and Willmott Dixon.
