The contractor was selected by Calderdale Council acting as client on behalf of the Academy Trust along with co-sponsors the Diocese of Wakefield, Calderdale College and the University of Huddersfield.
Trinity Academy will provide places for 1,200 students plus 300 places for sixth form students, serving the communities of Ovenden, Mixenden and Illingworth in Halifax.
The building includes renewable energy initiatives including a biomass boiler and solar thermal array and will be designed to achieve a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating.
