Daejan Holdings is planning to build the scheme at 54 Marsh Wall, with the highest tower rising to nearly 130m.
The Rolfe Judd designed project will feature 240 new apartments, to include 173 private, 25 intermediate and 40 affordable rented flats.
The scheme, while technically twin towers as each has its own core, will appear as a single mass at the lower level before splitting at the 23rd floor.
Tower A will have a brown bronze colour while Tower B is described as a champagne shade.
Topping Tower A are vertical fins with chrome yellow cladding, and burgundy red on the top of tower B.
The 0.5-acre site is presently home to two three-storey commercial buildings fronting the southern boundary of Marsh Wall.
The scheme is now one of several large-scale developments proposed at 30, 40 and 225 Marsh Wall.
