The contractor will host a recruitment open-evening in London next month to highlight current vacancies.

The GB team is currently delivering projects worth £490m nationally predominantly in its specialist sectors of residential, student accommodation, healthcare, hotels and education.

The workforce has grown by 80 in the past 12 months and GB Building Solutions executive chairman Martin Smout is confident this number will increase further before the end of the year.

He said: “Our approach to developing our people and attracting the very best talent the industry has to offer is key to the future success of our business.

“We have some exciting projects coming up in the South and we felt that an open evening in London would give us the best opportunity to meet with like-minded professionals who share our commitment to delivering superb products and service.”

The recruitment open evening, to be held in central London on Wednesday 5 November, is targeting project managers, quantity surveyors, site managers, project planners, M&E co-ordinators, design managers, senior estimators and pre-construction managers.
