Galliford Try’s Scottish business Morrison Construction, Kier and Morgan Sindall  have all won places and are now in line for design and build contracts through a selection process of mini-tenders.

Laing O’Rourke prequalified but pulled out before bidding started and Carillion entered the race late on after Miller withdrew following Galliford Try’s takeover.

Galliford Try Executive Chairman Greg Fitzgerald said: “We are delighted to have secured this opportunity, which builds on the strong relationships already established with North Lanarkshire Council through our Hub South West schools projects.”
