We are seeking to recruit an experienced Bid Writer/Submissions Manager to join the construction bid writing team in Mallusk.
Responsibilities
The Submissions Manager plays a vital role in driving the work winning function of McLaughlin & Harvey.
The successful candidate will work on the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender quality submissions. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities
- Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability; Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems
- Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions
- Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions
- Managing the clarification and RFI process; Proof-reading colleagues’ work
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client interviews
- Creating/updating the pre-construction library/standard marketing information
- Attending site visits and participating in PQQ/Tender interviews
Qualifications
Desirable
- Degree level qualification ideally within a construction related discipline.
Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong IT and creative presentation skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales
- Time management and prioritising workload
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player
Desirable
- Previous experience in the construction industry
