Southern Piling Ltd, based slightly north of Brighton, are looking for a Contract/Quality Control Manager to join their thriving business.
The company is based in Henfield, West Sussex but covers the whole of the South East and further afield, undertaking piling projects for all the top housebuilders.
This is a high level role with an excellent salary.
With the role being predominately office based the candidate needs to live within one hours drive of Henfield.
Main duties include -
Running the day-to-day link between our site team and clients ensuring projects are on target and works are being carried out correctly/safely.
Checking the QA, such as concrete cubes and pile testing records, are up to date. Issuing weekly QA to clients (in some cases daily depending on client requirements). Attending pre-start meetings and progress meetings via teams or on-site/in person. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
Reporting to MD on progress/issues across current projects.
The successful candidate must be personable, approachable and be able to demonstrate strong leadership whilst maintaining professional working relationships.
A piling background would be of an advantage but not necessary, however the candidate must have a good understanding of groundworks in general.
Confident in using I.T. in general for creating required reports and spreadsheets. Must be reliable with good timekeeping and be able to manage/prioritise workload.
