Due to continued expansion, we wish to recruit a Contracts Manager.
Based in Leinster on our projects, you will play a key role within the business.
The Contracts Manager will lead the development of projects. The role holder will have a strong sense of accountability and leadership throughout the projects, ensuring utilisation of the team to its fullest potential. The role sits on the management team working in close collaboration with fellow senior leaders to ensure business success and compliance throughout the delivery of the project
Key Responsibilities
- Run the project delivery team with full accountability for all aspects of the build and construct of projects.
- Responsible for delivering the project on the agreed time and budget. Have an in depth understanding of the project plan and budget.
- Partner with the design team on the design and installation
- Drive a culture of safety through the implementation of safe working practices. Align to John Paul Construction’s health and safety standards and local practices.
- Keep improving the efficiency of the project team’s operating model through the implementation of operational initiatives leveraging best practices, and continuously identifying / capturing synergies across the division.
- Manage the resourcing of the project and ensure it has the right level of competences, commitment, and motivation, by developing, retaining, and further identifying future talent required across projects and locations.
Specific Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- 15 years’ industry experience
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, legal terminology, and project management principles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
