We are recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work under the Commercial Manager in the scheme and work on future schemes in the region.
As Managing Quantity Surveyor you will take a key role in ensuring the financial success of projects, you will be able to add value throughout the full lifecycle in a commercial lead capacity or as part of a wider team as required.
Your day to day will include, but not be limited to:
- Advising on financial feasibility of projects at early stages
- Organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement.
- Assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages.
- Negotiating with sub-contractor supply chain to achieve best value.
- Managing applications for payment from sub contractors
- Preparation of applications for payment to clients.
- Ensuring all additions and variations are costed and logged in line with the contract conditions.
- Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)
- Preparation of final accounts
