ACCIONA is looking to appoint a site-based Quantity Surveyor at our North London Heat and Power Project in Edmonton, London E4 8JG.

Your role
Main responsibilities:
- Commercial management of subcontract packages from tender selection to award, management throughout to the settlement of final account.
- Measurement of Civils, Steel Frames and multiple process disciplines.
- Payment Application / Certificates Management.
- Variations/Field Extra Work Order Management (FEWO).
- Claims Management (both Head and Subcontract).
- Management of back charges.
- Coordination of communications with Subcontractors.
- Coordination with Project Control (Planning and Cost Control) and on-site engineering delivery team.
- Coordination with the Construction, Procurement and Finance Departments in the closing of Subcontracts.
Job requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc Hons) or Master’s degree (MSc) in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
Industry Experience:
- Experience in heavy process industries such as Energy from Waste (EfW), Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Nuclear sectors is advantageous.
Professional Membership:
- MRICS membership or actively working towards achieving MRICS status (preferred).
Additional Competencies:
- Strong understanding of cost management, contract administration, and financial planning
